Important Guidelines

  1. Please maintain silence in the galleries. Talking will disturb the experience of others.
  2. For Part 1 – You will have to stay with the batch, as per booking
  3. It is strictly prohibited to touch any display items, or operation systems.
  4. Mobile phones, cameras, electronic watches, voice recorders and similar devices are strictly prohibited inside the galleries
  5. Cellphones and electronic gadgets must be deposited prior to entry, for indoor experiences.
  6. Photography is not permitted inside the Museum.
  7. Any staining or damage caused to the displays would result in the person concerned being fined/prosecuted.
  8. Please do not lean on the railings or display items.
  9. Do not litter.
  10. Weapons of any kind, pointed or sharp objects are prohibited in the experience centre.
  11. Food items served in the Cafeteria, ‘Sattva- The Food Court’, and the outdoor ‘Chaupaati’, must be consumed within the designated dining areas
  12. Outside Food, beverages and drinking water are strictly prohibited on the Museum premises
  13. Please keep your electronic wristband securely on your wrist, until you leave the premises.
  14. Access to the Museum’s facilities and services is exclusively through this wristband
  15. In the event of loss or damage to the wristband, financial compensation will be charged.
  16. Please ensure the safety of your belongings. The Museum or Management cannot be held responsible for any loss.
  17. Smoking, chewing tobacco, gutkha, or any similar substances/drugs are strictly prohibited on the premises.
  18. Individuals found in possession of such substances will be escorted off the premises, and barred from future visits. Legal action will be taken against offenders.
  19. Children below 6 years are not allowed for Indoor experiences.
  20. For Open Air Heritage Walk, children below 12 years need necessarily to be accompanied by an adult.
  21. Photo ID verification will be required at the ticketing counter.
  22. Kindly co-operate with the security check.
  23. The Batch Organizers, on batched experiences, are there to help you. Kindly follow their instructions for a smooth experience. They have the right to ask you to step aside, in case of any disturbance caused
