A Proud Moment for Us

Dr. Abhay Firodia conferred
with the Prestigious
38th Punyabhushan Puraskar

Award Ceremony Moments
Dr. Abhay Firodia receiving 38th Punyabhushan Puraskar

In recognition of a lifetime of leadership and contribution, Dr. Abhay N. Firodia, Chairman - Force Motors Ltd. and Founder - Abhay Prabhavana, has been conferred the prestigious Punyabhushan Puraskar 2026.

The award was presented by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, and Shri Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, Hon’ble Union Minister of Communications and Minister for Development of North Eastern Region.

The ceremony was graced by eminent dignitaries including Dr. R. A. Mashelkar, eminent scientist and former Director General of CSIR; Mr. Pratap Pawar, Chairman of Sakal Media Group; and Dr. Satish Desai, President, Punyabhushan Foundation.

This distinguished honour, now in its 38th year, celebrates individuals who have made exceptional contributions to society, industry, and nation-building. Dr. Firodia joins an illustrious group of past recipients whose work has left a lasting impact across diverse fields.

Carrying forward a legacy rooted in enterprise and service, Dr. Firodia has played a defining role in shaping India’s automotive landscape, while continuing to champion initiatives across education, culture, and social development. His leadership reflects a rare balance of industrial excellence and societal commitment—values that continue to guide Force Motors.

A notable reflection of this vision is Abhay Prabhavana—a unique “Museum of Ideas” conceptualised under his leadership. Developed over a decade in collaboration with scholars, thought leaders, and artists, the centre presents the timeless values of Jainism through a scientific, logical, and contemporary lens, underscoring their enduring relevance to society.

This recognition is not only a proud moment for all of us at Abhay Prabhavana, but also a celebration of a legacy built on purpose, perseverance, and progress.
